Lidia Velkova is the Managing Director of Clever Together Futureproof, a change agency dedicated to embedding evidence, expertise, and citizens’ lived experience in decision-making on ‘wicked’ issues such as AI governance. She is an experienced issues engagement consultant specializing in designing innovative, collaborative approaches and systemic solutions for complex challenges. Lidia has advised private and public sector organizations worldwide on responsible approaches to data, technology, and AI, fostering deep understanding and inclusive engagement at local, regional, and global levels. Before joining Clever Together, Lidia held global roles in the communications agencies Edelman and APCO Worldwide.

Leda Kuneva is a Senior Consultant at the change agency Clever Together Futureproof. She is an experienced social researcher with a focus on human rights, digital ethics, responsible AI, and citizen engagement in governance. She holds degrees from the London School of Economics and Political Science (MSc in Human Rights) and the SOAS University of London (BA in International Relations and Law). Her research interests include responsible AI governance and legal compliance, ethical, rights-protecting online spaces, gender and intersectionality, and the rights of historically underrepresented and marginalized groups, on which she has published over a dozen academic articles and book chapters.

Anna Colom is a political and social scientist working at the intersections of democratic processes, data and AI, climate, and public health. She is currently the Senior Policy Lead at The Data Tank. She is also a visiting scholar at The Open University. Before joining The Data Tank, Anna was the Public Participation and Research Lead at the Ada Lovelace Institute, a research institute in the UK doing research to ensure data and AI work for people and societies. Her role focused on ensuring public perspectives and experiences are embedded in both decision-making processes, policy and research in rigorous, inclusive and meaningful ways.

Marta Poblet is the Senior Research Lead at the Data Tank and an Adjunct Professor at RMIT University (Melbourne, Australia). Prior to joining The Data Tank, she was a Professor at RMIT University’s Graduate School of Business and Law. She is one of the co-founders of the Institute of Law and Technology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (IDT-UAB). She holds a JSD in law (Stanford University 2002) and a Master's in International Legal Studies (Stanford University 2000). Her research interests cover different areas at the intersection of law, political sciences, and technology, with a focus on data, AI, distributed technologies, human-computer interaction, and the different theories of democracy and citizenship. She has been the PI of national and international research projects and has published over 80 scientific articles and book chapters on these topics.

Tim Davies is Director of Research and Practice at Connected by Data, the campaign for communities to have a powerful voice in the governance of data and AI. He led the development of the People’s Panel on AI alongside the UK AI Safety Summit and is co-author of Options for Global Citizen Deliberation on AI. He holds an MSc in Social Science of the Internet from the Oxford Internet Institute and a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Oriel College Oxford. He was co-editor of The State of Open Data: Histories and Horizons and co-founder of Open Data Services Co-operative and the Global Data Barometer.
